Magen David is a private school system, with a state-of-the-art elementary school building, educating over 2,400 community children.
With this project, Magen David was looking to reduce power consumption significantly, lower maintenance costs and improve lighting for students and faculty.
Proper lighting enhances the learning environment by increasing productivity and awareness. The result of this project is a state-of-the-art lighting system that will be relevant well into the future.
By upgrading all of the existing lighting with the newest energy efficient LED lighting, IDL was able to reduce the building’s energy costs and give Magen David significant savings in a very short period of time.

The building located at 26 Court Street is a 28 story office building in downtown Brooklyn.
Despite the building’s charm, it suffered from energy and comfort problems that are all too common among downtown Brooklyn’s older buildings, making it a perfect candidate for the rebates and free energy consulting services offered by IDL.
IDL assessed the building’s lighting needs and implemented an energy savings plan for all of the common areas of the building.
By upgrading all of the existing lighting in the hallways, basement and the outdoor areas, with energy efficient LED lighting, which come with extensive lifetime ratings of 50,000+ hours, backed by five year warranties. 26 Court Street has the peace of mind that they will no longer be frequently changing bulbs, further increasing their savings especially where access is difficult.
